FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

We will continue adding frequently asked questions to this page as questions come in.  If you don't see your particular question listed here, please contact us at 518-869-8116 and we will be happy to help!

Q. Someone called asking for my machine model number for toner shipment.  What should I do?

A. Never give your copier or printer model number over the phone to someone that you don't know.  We have all of your machine information on file and would not need to ask for this information.  Many third party toner suppliers will pose as Repeat Business Systems or a supplier of Repeat Business Systems.  If you are unsure, ask them to verify the machine ID#.  If they can't provide it, then you can be sure that it is a phone scam. We do not partner with Bay Imaging, Inc. one of such callers.

Q. What is PrintTracker and is it safe to install on my PC?

A: PrintTracker is completely safe to install on your computer. It monitors your printers and copiers for toner level and automatically sends us low toner alerts to promt shipping of a new toner cartridge.  We can adjust the amount of days or % levels to fit your needs based on machine usage so that you never run out of toner.  PrintTracker also alleviates the hassle of having to manually check the machine monthly for meter readings by sending us all of the information directly.

Q: What should I do with my empty/used toner cartridges?

A: Email Supplies and we will send you instructions on how to recycle your empty toner cartridges.  We do not accept them at our office location.

Q: Who should I contact to get my machine picked up?

A: Contact your technology consultant (sales representative.)  If you don't know who your technology consultant is, contact Email Sales and we will have your rep reach out to you directly.

Q: Photocopies of some checks come out as a black page.  Why?

A: Some checks have anti-counterfeiting features such as a pattern of yellow dots in three or more areas of the face of the check.  Most modern copiers are required to be programmed to recognize these patterns to avoid making counterfeit copies of the check.
